QR codes are two dimensional bar codes that act as a bridge between the print and digital worlds.  A mobile phone with a QR code reader can scan the code with the phone’s camera and then automatically take the user to the corresponding mobile web site.

For example, a James Bond poster or magazine advertisement may contain a QR code that allows people to view movie trailers or book cinema ticket’s directly on their mobile.
